After School Programs
Math Enrichment, in partnership with Norwood Creek, offers students in grades 1-6 a safe, educational and fun after school program. Math Enrichment is more than just a math program. This after school program includes supervised homework time, test preparation and help with projects in all subjects followed by skill enrichment opportunities. Parents can purchase educational packages for either a 3 day or 5 day program from 2:15 – 6 p.m. and on minimum days starting at 12:35 p.m. Space is limited.

After School Hoops is a fun, educational and safe organization that teaches the basics and fundamentals of a variety of fames game. The experienced and knowledgeable staff of One on One Basketball, Inc and O3 Sports meets kids on the blacktops after school and instruct them during skills, drills and games.

The City of San Jose-Department of Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services will be hosting an after school program at Norwood Creek Elementary School for next School Year, 2016-2017.
"Recreation of City Kids, R.O.C.K., offers enrichment, healthy recreation, developmental assets, homework assistance, safety and fun after school care for students"
Representatives of the R.O.C.K. program will be at Norwood Creek's Open House on Thursday, May 5th to answer any questions you may have and register students for the upcoming school year.

Girls on the Run
Open to all girls in grades 3-6!
Girls on the Run is a life- changing, after school program
for girls in elementary school.
Girls learn life skills such as healthy decision- making, teamwork and confidence while training to complete a 5K!

Mondays and Wednesdays 3:10- 4:40 p.m.

Program fee $215
Includes 10 weeks/20 sessions, all program materials, snacks,
2 T-shirts, water bottle and 5K entry!

Mad Science offers hands-on, one-hour after school science programs themed around a particular area of science. Topics include such areas as rocketry, magnets, polymers and even the science of toys. Children engage in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves like model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science putty and more. Mad Science after-school programs offer children a chance to see just how cool science can be! Classes are offered in 8 week sessions.
