Welcome! It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to welcome you to the 2018-19 school year! We had a great 2017-18 school year with a lot of improvements to the campus and a new Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe initiative. We will also be continuing the great work of the SEAL program by expanding to the 4th and 5th grade. I look forward to building on these successes with our incoming students...

California's Summer Nutrition Programs can help feed your children by serving healthy lunches during the summer months. The summer nutrition programs serve all children through age 18 at no charge. The programs also operate activities for children that are safe and fun. Children receive complete, wholesome meals and parents receive help in stretching their food dollars. You can look for a site near you by visiting the Summer Meal Service Map at: http://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks Or the Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3Hungry (1-866-348-6479). For Spanish, call 1-877-8Hambre (1-877-848-6273) (Evergreen SD is not a Summer Program site)

Parents of 6th graders - you will need to provide documentation that your child had a Tdap (whooping cough) booster shot given on or after 7 years old. Our goal is to have ALL 6th grade students provide this documentation before the end of May. If you haven't done so already, check your child's immunization record or call your physician to find out when they last had a Tdap vaccination. Once the shot is completed, bring in the immunization record to the school office so we can document that the requirement has been completed. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL SUMMER TO COMPLETE THIS REQUIREMENT.
