Getting to school everyday and on time is important to us all. It's a measure of a positive school climate. The idea is that a great school is one where students are motivated to make it on time and ready to learn.

The Evergreen School District has named an interim superintendent, following the announced retirement of Superintendent Kathy Gomez. Bob Nuñez will become interim superintendent, effective January 10, 2019.

Thursday, December 13, 2018 was the Santa Clara County Middle School Wrestling Championships at Los Gatos High School. Schools from all across the county sent their top wrestlers to battle for the highest honor in middle school wrestling - County Champion.

Middle school is a time of transition. It's a transition from elementary to high school. It's a transition from one teacher to many. It's the beginning of a transition to adulthood. Which makes it an extremely important time for your child to connect with others and build strong positive relationships. And, getting involved and participating in school events is the best way to do that.

Social Media is likely here to stay, but do you know what your child is doing online? According to Common Sense Media, 89% of teens have smartphones and 70% are on social media (2018). Those numbers seem pretty consistent with our school.
