Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and the San Jose Sharks are teaming up to provide residents with free and easy walk-up COVID-19 testing at SAP Center at San Jose. The new location has the ability to test up to 1,000 people per day from June 23-27. Read story for more details.

Governor Newsom and State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond have
announced that school campuses in California will not reopen this school year. To be
clear, the 2019-2020 school year has not ended. The remainder of the school year now
transitions from in-person classroom instruction to instruction and support for students through
distance learning options as described by California Department of Education (CDE).

School closures and student dismissals from regular school attendance extended through May 1 to slow the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible. All district and school offices will remain closed during this time. The Grab and Go lunch program will continue to offer food during the closure.
